Privacy Policy

MintMeter LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the MintMeter trading card collection and price-tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built MintMeter for collectors — your card data is yours, and we will never sell it.

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Information We Collect

We collect only what's needed to run the app: Account information — your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, your name and profile photo provided by that service. Collection data — the trading cards you add, including player names, set details, PSA grades, estimated values, and any card photos you capture or upload. Portfolio snapshots — a daily record of your total collection value, displayed as a month-by-month chart on your dashboard. Device camera and photo library — accessed only when you choose to scan a card or add a photo. Images are stored securely and associated with your account.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: authenticate your account and keep your session secure; store and sync your card collection across devices; look up current market prices via eBay and PSA; and generate your portfolio value history and dashboard statistics. We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles for third-party marketing, and we do not sell your data — ever.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, Inc., which uses industry-standard encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure keychain (iOS) or encrypted shared preferences (Android). We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account Settings within the app, or by contacting us at the address below.

Third-Party Services

MintMeter integrates with the following services, each with its own privacy policy: Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy). eBay Browse API — live card listings and pricing data. PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) — graded card population data and pricing (psacard.com/privacy). Google Sign-In / Apple Sign In — optional OAuth login. We receive only the basic profile scopes you authorize.

Camera & Photo Access

The app requests camera permission to scan trading cards and photo library access to let you attach card images. These permissions are requested at the time you first use those features and can be revoked at any time in your device's Settings app. Revoking camera permission disables card scanning; the rest of the app continues to work normally.

Your Rights & Choices

Access — all your card data is visible inside the app at any time. Export — you can export your collection as a CSV from within the app. Deletion — delete your account instantly from Account Settings within the app, or email us. All data is permanently removed upon in-app deletion. If you are in the European Economic Area or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA. Contact us to exercise them.

Children's Privacy

MintMeter is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, displaying an in-app notice. Continued use of MintMeter after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
